Once a door slips out of its tracks, brute force only makes things worse. We realign it with care, then look for what pushed it off in the first place.
Years of experience
Our team lives and works in Bohemia, NY
Few garage door problems look as dramatic as a door that has slipped out of its tracks. It may hang at a tilt or refuse to move at all. It is also a job that should never be muscled back into position, because doing so can twist the tracks and damage the rollers even more. Our off-track repair in Bohemia, NY realigns the door the right way, then inspects the tracks, brackets, and rollers so we can pinpoint what caused the derailment and keep it from happening again.
Before any work begins, we explain what went wrong and what the repair will cost. You always get a real diagnosis and a real number, never a vague guess.
Call 1 (833) 652-7571First, we stabilize the door so nothing can shift or fall while we work
Rollers are gently worked back into tracks that are properly lined up
The tracks are inspected for any bends, dents, or other damage
Brackets that have worked loose or moved are readjusted or swapped out
We run the door from fully closed to fully open to confirm it glides smoothly
Usual culprits are a warped track, a bracket that has come loose, something blocking the door partway through its travel, or a vehicle or heavy object bumping into it.
We would advise against it. Pushing a derailed door back can warp the track or wreck the rollers, and the door itself may fall without warning while you are standing close to it.
When the real cause, such as a damaged track or slack bracket, is corrected, the door should run normally afterward. That is why we look for the source of the problem instead of simply resetting the rollers.
